Former SKID ROW Frontman Records Music With Ex-GUNS N' ROSES Members, Awaits Final Word
December 23, 2002Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach has confirmed that he has been recording demos and auditioning for the new band formed by ex-GUNS N' ROSES members Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.
Bach, who is considered to have the inside track to fill the vacant singer slot in the group, told Florida's Sun-Sentinel last week that "All I can say right now is that they're pretty much trying out every singer who ever walked, and I'm one of them. I've laid down five songs with them in the studio, and they've given me another 14 songs with vocals that I'm trying to tackle.
"I could be a member of the band someday but as of right now, I'm not," Sebastian continued. "You're talkin' to somebody who does eight shows a week so I just cannot relate to GUNS N' ROSES.
"There's a reason why I'm the only heavy metal singer to take a Broadway show on the road in the United States — it's because none of the other ones can show up on time," he joked.
